Dayan LIU received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Lille 1, France, in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, he held postdoctoral positions in Arts et Métiers ParisTech, France and at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. Currently, Dr. Liu is Associate Professor in INSA Centre Val de Loire, where he belongs to Control Team in PRISME Laboratory. In January 2022, he earned the Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR). His research interests mainly focus on identification and estimation methods. Dr. Liu has published more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences, and has supervised 12 Ph.D. students (10 have defended). Moreover, he has participated in more than 10 Chinese, French and American research projects. He is a Technical Committee Member of CAA: Fractional Order Systems and Control, and IFAC: 2.2 Linear Control Systems an Editorial Board Member of Fractal and Fractional, and a Guest Editor of 5 Special Issues.
Dr. Xiao-Hua Yu received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California, Irvine. Currently, she is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Dr. Yu has served on the organization and program committees of various international conferences, as well as the editorial board of several international journals. Dr. Yu’s research interests include computational intelligence and machine learning, digital signal processing, and adaptive control.
Patrick Siarry received the Ph.D. degree from University Paris 6, in 1986, and the Doctorate of Sciences (Habilitation) degree from University Paris 11, in 1994. He was first involved in the development of both analog and digital models of nuclear power plants with Electricite de France (E.D.F.). Since 1995, he has been a Professor of automatics and informatics. His primary research interests include the computer-aided design of electronic circuits and the application of new stochastic global optimization heuristics to various engineering fields. Additionally, he is interested in fitting process models to experimental data, learning fuzzy rule bases, and neural networks.
Grigorios Beligiannis was born in Athens, Greece, in 1974. He graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics of the University of Patras in 1997. He finished his postgraduate studies in “Computer & Information Technology” in 2000 and his doctoral dissertation in 2002 at the same time Department. In 2007 he was elected to the lecturer's degree with knowledge area “Management Information Systems”. In 2011 he has evolved at the rank of Assistant Professor, in 2016 at the rank of Associate Professor and in 2020 at the rank of Professor with subject “Intelligent Information Systems”. He has 58 published research papers in international scientific journals, 49 published papers in scientific conferences and 4 chapters in edited book series. He is Associate Editor of International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Member of the Editorial Board of Applied Soft Computing, Helyion, Journal of Intelligent Communication, Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research, Journal of Advances in Artificial Intelligence and International Journal of Cyber Forensics and Advanced Threat Investigations. He has been a member of the Technical Committee at more than 200 international scientific conferences. His research interests focus on Intelligent Algorithms of Decision Theory, on Intelligent Algorithm Applications to System Identification, Parameter Estimation and Operations Research problems and on Business Intelligence Systems. He has over 21 years of experience in teaching in Greek universities in undergraduate and post graduate courses. He has over 26 years of experience in participating in research projects.
Dr. Hadi Sarvari is presently a senior researcher at Birmingham City University. His area of research focuses on Construction Safety and Health as well as sustainability. He also serves as a researcher at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and as an Assistant Professor in Construction Management at the Islamic Azad University Isfahan (Iran). His teaching and research interests include Construction Contract Management, Management Information Systems, Construction Project Planning and Control, Engineering Systems Analysis, Maintenance Management, and Evaluation of Performance in the Construction of infrastructure projects. In 2018, he was awarded the Best Lecturer Award in the Educational field. He was also awarded as a distinguished researcher in 2021. He authored and co-authored several scientific articles and books in the following fields: Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, Safety and Risk management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Maintenance Management. His work has appeared in the Journal of Habitat International, Building Engineering, International Journal of Construction Management, Journal of Facilities Management, Iranian Journal of Fuzzy Systems, Sustainability, Buildings, Applied Sciences, Energies, Administrative Sciences, and Journal of Civil Engineering and Management, among others. Edward Muntean is a professor at the Department of Food Sciences within the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj Napoca, Romania. He instructs undergraduate students in Analytical Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry, while guiding Master’s students in Chemical Hazard Assessment and Control for Food Quality Management. His educational background encompasses a B.Sc. in Organic Chemical Engineering from Babes-Bolyai University Cluj Napoca, postgraduate studies in Applied Informatics and Programming from Technical University Cluj Napoca, a M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Biotechnology of Plant Pigments from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj Napoca and a PhD in Chemistry from Babes-Bolyai University Cluj Napoca. Prof. Edward Muntean has authored twelve books and over 100 papers in scientific journals focusing on analytical and its application in food science. He has managed eight independent research projects and actively participates in professional societies. He is a member of editorial and advisory boards for several international journals. His research interest lies in the chemistry and biochemistry of biologically active compounds, with a shift towards applications of high-performance liquid chromatography and ion chromatography in detecting emerging food and medicinal plants’ contamination.
Prof Raul Campilho is a researcher and Professor at ISEP-School of Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. Prof Campilho is an expert in testing and modelling composite materials and adhesive joints. Furthermore, Prof Campilho is a recognized researcher in the application of cohesive zone models and the extended finite element method to the analysis of adhesively bonded joints. Consequently, his ample experience led him to be among the most- cited scientists of the world (top 2% according to Stanford University). His research interests are characterization of materials, material joining, adhesive joints, advanced composite and sandwich structures, finite element method, fracture mechanics, computational mechanics, cohesive zone models, advanced manufacturing systems, automation and robotics, and industrial design.
My name is Dan Dobrotă and they are a Professor at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania. I obtained his undergraduate degree in Machine Building Technology (1994) from University of Craiova, Romania. I received his Ph.D. in Technology of Materials field from the University of Craiova, Romania, in 1998. Also, I obtained another undergraduate degree in Finance and Assurance, at Constantin Brancusi University of Targu Jiu, Romania (2004). In year 2013 I supported the habilitation thesis at Polytechnic University of Bucharest in Industrial Engineering domain. I was promoted to Full Professor in 2007. I have published over 137 scientific articles, among which over 84 in international journals indexed Web of Science. I am reviewer for 52 Web of Science indexed journals (Journal of Cleaner Production, Materials, Polymers, etc.), 55 of which are rated Q1. I am the author of 32 books, one of which is published by the international publishing house LAMBERT. I was editor of the special volume “Design of Welded Steel Structures” of the journal Metals indexed Web of Science and now, of the special volume of the journal Materials” entitled “Eco design for Composite Materials and Products” (classified Q1).
Bing-Huei Chen, male, food scientist, received his Ph.D. degree in Food Science & Technology, Texas A & M University, USA in 1988. His postgraduate career includes working at Fu Jen University, Taipei, Taiwan as Associate Professor from 1988–1994, Professor from 1994–2003, Distinguished Chair Professor from 2003–present, Chair of Department of Nutrition and Food Science from 1994-2000, Director of Graduate Institute of Medicine from 2006–2009, and Dean of College of Human Ecology from 2012–2015. He specializes in Lipid Chemistry, Pigment Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Food Toxicology, Functional Food and Botanical Drug Development and Biological Activity Determination as well as Nanotechnology. Until now he has published 230 research articles in internationally renowned journals and authored 11 book chapters in edited books published by International Publishers with total citations of 14276 and H-index=70. He has received numerous awards including the prestigious National Invention Gold Medal Award by Ministry of Economics, Taiwan in 2018 and was honored with Outstanding Research Scientist by Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He was also honored with International Outstanding Inventor of Biotechnology by Taiwan Inventor Association/International Innovation and Invention Alliance Association in 2019 and Distinguished Professor by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China in 2015. Most importantly, Prof. Chen has developed a nano-product “Lycopene Chylomicron” and a phase III clinical trial was completed in both Taiwan and USA in 2017, demonstrating effectiveness in the treatment of patients with prostate hypertrophy. Expectedly, this product will become the first botanic drug in the world for treatment of patients with prostate hypertrophy without side effects. Furthermore, Prof. Chen has developed a nano drink product with cinnamon leaves as raw material recently, which was demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of type II diabetes, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease in rats. Additionally, a healthy edible oil was developed to be effective in the treatment of cardiovascular disease in hamsters. Both products will be commercially available soon. In 2020, the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), a European organization has honored him with IAAM Scientist Award 2020 for his contribution to the advancement of science and technology. At the same year he was also honored with Vebleo Fellow. Also, he has been rated as the top 2% scientists in the world since 2021 by Elsevier Publishers/Stanford University. More recently, the IAAM has conferred him with the Fellow of IAAM (FIAAM) for his contribution to Nanomaterials–Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Currently, Prof. Chen serves as CEO of Brilliant Nano Biotech Company in Taiwan. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Recent Patents on Food, Nutrition and Agriculture” and Associate Editor of 2 journals “Journal of Food & Drug Analysis” and “Asian Science Bulletin”. In addition, he serves on the editorial board of 140 journals. Currently he is the President of Professors Association, Taiwan, Republic of China and was the Past President of AOAC Taiwan section from 2016-2018.

He was Senior Researcher and Deputy Director of Research Group for Environmental Microbiology of Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Budapest) between 1997 and 2004. He received the degrees of B.Sc. Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published ~300 journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >12,000 citations, one book, seven edited books, two book chapters, >60 issued or pending patents, >200 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >30 plenary and >80 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Fellow of SPIE, a Senior Member of IEEE and Optica. As a research scientist, Dr. Omid Akbarzadeh Pivehzhani works with Texas A&M University, Department of Petroleum Engineering. He worked with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the USA and Nanotechnology and Catalysis Research Centre (NANOCAT) at the University of Malaya in Malaysia. His main research areas are heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, catalytic reaction engineering, nano catalyst synthesis, nanomaterials characterization, CO2 conversion, and gas process. He has spent 15 years in academic-industrial projects as a research officer and post-doctoral. He developed advanced smart catalysts, especially for the oil and gas industries. Omid has contributed to two PETRONAS Research Sdn Bhd industrial catalyst projects and worked on an international Airbus R&D project in NANOCAT. He was a project member of the FRGS grant in UTP Malaysia. Omid was the Chairman, keynote speaker, and organizing committee of many international conferences. He supervised three PhD students from different countries. He has published many ISI papers; book chapters and inventor of two approved and granted international patents. Also, he has hands-on experience and passed several pieces of training on handling different types of advanced equipment which are being widely used for nanomaterials synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation. He is in close collaboration with other departments, government agencies, and universities worldwide. He was a visiting researcher at Jiangsu University China and Hokkaido University Japan. He is a Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) member and a Senior Member of the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society. Omid was awarded a full fellowship from the University Technology PETRONAS during his PhD and was involved as a lab demonstrator and teaching in the different courses of chemical engineering. He was awarded a Silver Medal at the 27th International Invention & Innovation Exhibition (ITEX 2016), Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia, and a Silver Medal of Post Graduate Research Project at the 35th Science & Engineering Design Exhibition (SEDEX 35).
Xianguang Yang received his Bachelors degree in Optics from Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) in 2012, and completed his Doctorate in Optical Engineering with the theoretical and experimental combination of nanowire and nanoparticle photonics at the State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies affiliated with SYSU in 2016 under the guidance of Prof. Baojun Li (Changjiang Scholar). He received National Postgraduate Scholarship in 2016. He became an Assistant Professor of the Institute of Nanophotonics at the Jinan University in 2016 and became an Assistant to the Dean since 2018, then promoted to Associate Professor in 2019. He has mentored 13 MS students and post-docs. His main research interests include photonics, plasmonics, nano-optics, detectors, optoelectronics and optothermal mechanisms, especially for fiber optical waveguide, which were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Dr. Yang has published 4 Book chapters, and 30 peer-reviewed journal publications, such as Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Advanced Optical Materials, Nanophotonics, Nanoscale, ACS Photonics, and etc. He has been an Editorial Board Member of Optics in 2018 and to be a member for RSC Advances Reviewer Panel since 2020. Dr. Mohammad Arif Kamal is an Architect having 20 years of Teaching, Research and Professional experience in the field of Architecture, Building Technology and Interior Design. He did his Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) with Honors from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 2000, and secured a Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) on an MHRD GATE Fellowship from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, in 2002 and Ph.D. in ‘Energy Responsiveness in Traditional Residential Buildings of Lucknow’ on MHRD Fellowship, from IIT, Roorkee in 2007. His major fields of interest are Environmental Design, Sustainable Architecture, Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Climate Responsive Architecture, and Traditional Architecture etc. Dr. Kamal is presently working as an Associate Professor at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has published 5 books and edited 4 Special Topic Volumes related to Sustainable Building Materials, published by Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. He has published extensively around 120 papers in International Journals and Conferences. Dr. Kamal has an h-index of 13 and i10 index of 20 with around 883 Citations (Highest in Architecture in India). Associate Professor Chonlatee Photong had been a development engineer at Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. for 3 years (2002-2004) and a maintenance engineer at Seagate Technology (Thailand) for 2 years (2005-2006). He received his B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Khon Kaen University, Thailand in 2001. He received his masters degree of Power Electronics and Drives in 2007 and his doctoral degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2013 from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. After his doctoral graduation, he has started working as a lecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahasarakham University, Thailand, and experienced working as an editor-in-chief of Mahasarakham International Journal of Engineering Technology and Engineering Access since 2014, a co-editor-in-chief of Community University Engagement Journal since 2022. He had been an assistant to the President for Public Relation and International Affairs at Mahasarakham University during 2015-2018. He is currently the Deputy Dean for Administration, Graduate School, Mahasarakham University, Thailand. He is currently the head of the Electric Automotive and Energy Technology Research Unit. His research expertise is power electronics for renewable energy and electric motor drives. He has more than 100 published research works, 15 research funds and several awards covering the innovation and research studies on a current source inverter for solar and renewable energy conversion and generation, as well as, motor control, drives and applications. He is a senior member of the IEEE PES & IES-Thailand Section.
Dr HO SOON MIN is professor in Centre for Green Chemistry and Applied Chemistry, INTI International University, Putra Nilai,71800, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. He received his Ph. D in Materials Chemistry at University Putra Malaysia. He taught a variety of courses such as physical chemistry, general chemistry, chemistry & society since last nine years.
