Dr. Jianhua Yang received his Ph.D degree of Computer Science focusing on cybersecurity in 2006. He is currently working at TSYS School of Computer Science, Columbus State University (CSU), Columbus, GA, USA as a Full Professor. Before joining CSU, Dr. Yang worked as an Assistant Professor at Bennett College from 2006 to 2008, University of Maryland Eastern Shore from 2008 to 2009, and Associate Professor at Beijing Institute of Petro-Chemical Technology, Beijing, China from 1990 to 2000. Dr. Yang has published 30+ prestigious journal papers and 50+ conference proceeding publications on cybersecurity. He has received 10+ grants from NSA, DoD, and NSF in the amount of more than $1M.

Dayan LIU received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Lille 1, France, in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, he held postdoctoral positions in Arts et Métiers ParisTech, France and at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. Currently, Dr. Liu is Associate Professor in INSA Centre Val de Loire, where he belongs to Control Team in PRISME Laboratory. In January 2022, he earned the Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR). His research interests mainly focus on identification and estimation methods. Dr. Liu has published more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences, and has supervised 12 Ph.D. students (10 have defended). Moreover, he has participated in more than 10 Chinese, French and American research projects. He is a Technical Committee Member of CAA: Fractional Order Systems and Control, and IFAC: 2.2 Linear Control Systems an Editorial Board Member of Fractal and Fractional, and a Guest Editor of 5 Special Issues.

Dr. Xiao-Hua Yu received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California, Irvine. Currently, she is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Dr. Yu has served on the organization and program committees of various international conferences, as well as the editorial board of several international journals. Dr. Yu’s research interests include computational intelligence and machine learning, digital signal processing, and adaptive control.

Patrick Siarry received the Ph.D. degree from University Paris 6, in 1986, and the Doctorate of Sciences (Habilitation) degree from University Paris 11, in 1994. He was first involved in the development of both analog and digital models of nuclear power plants with Electricite de France (E.D.F.). Since 1995, he has been a Professor of automatics and informatics. His primary research interests include the computer-aided design of electronic circuits and the application of new stochastic global optimization heuristics to various engineering fields. Additionally, he is interested in fitting process models to experimental data, learning fuzzy rule bases, and neural networks.

Grigorios Beligiannis was born in Athens, Greece, in 1974. He graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics of the University of Patras in 1997. He finished his postgraduate studies in “Computer & Information Technology” in 2000 and his doctoral dissertation in 2002 at the same time Department. In 2007 he was elected to the lecturer's degree with knowledge area “Management Information Systems”. In 2011 he has evolved at the rank of Assistant Professor, in 2016 at the rank of Associate Professor and in 2020 at the rank of Professor with subject “Intelligent Information Systems”. He has 58 published research papers in international scientific journals, 49 published papers in scientific conferences and 4 chapters in edited book series. He is Associate Editor of International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Member of the Editorial Board of Applied Soft Computing, Helyion, Journal of Intelligent Communication, Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research, Journal of Advances in Artificial Intelligence and International Journal of Cyber Forensics and Advanced Threat Investigations. He has been a member of the Technical Committee at more than 200 international scientific conferences. His research interests focus on Intelligent Algorithms of Decision Theory, on Intelligent Algorithm Applications to System Identification, Parameter Estimation and Operations Research problems and on Business Intelligence Systems. He has over 21 years of experience in teaching in Greek universities in undergraduate and post graduate courses. He has over 26 years of experience in participating in research projects.

Dr. Hadi Sarvari is presently a senior researcher at Birmingham City University. His area of research focuses on Construction Safety and Health as well as sustainability. He also serves as a researcher at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and as an Assistant Professor in Construction Management at the Islamic Azad University Isfahan (Iran). His teaching and research interests include Construction Contract Management, Management Information Systems, Construction Project Planning and Control, Engineering Systems Analysis, Maintenance Management, and Evaluation of Performance in the Construction of infrastructure projects. In 2018, he was awarded the Best Lecturer Award in the Educational field. He was also awarded as a distinguished researcher in 2021. He authored and co-authored several scientific articles and books in the following fields: Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, Safety and Risk management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Maintenance Management. His work has appeared in the Journal of Habitat International, Building Engineering, International Journal of Construction Management, Journal of Facilities Management, Iranian Journal of Fuzzy Systems, Sustainability, Buildings, Applied Sciences, Energies, Administrative Sciences, and Journal of Civil Engineering and Management, among others. He is a reviewer and editorial board member in several international journals (e.g., Safety Science, International Journal of Construction Management, Frontiers in Built Environment, Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting, and Malaysian Journal of Civil Engineering) and leading conferences (e.g., European Safety and Reliability Conference).

Prof. Sjaak Brinkkemper is full professor of Software Production at the Department of Information and Computing Sciences of Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He leads a group of about thirty researchers specialized in product software development and software entrepreneurship. The main research themes of the group are methodology of software production, software ecosystems, and responsibility and sustainability in the software industry. In 2019 he established the Care2Report research program (www.care2report.nl) that aims at providing complete medical reports from patient-doctor conversations using generative AI in combination with speech and action recognition. In 2023 he co-founded the startup Verticai (www.verticai.nl), that aims at bringing the conversation summarization platform to the worldwide market. Brinkkemper has published several books and papers in his research interests: medical informatics, healthcare software production, requirements engineering, software architecture, and method engineering.

Abdeljalil Metioui holds a B. Sc. in Physics from Universite Mohamed V, Morocco, a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Physics from Universite de Bordeaux 1, France, a Master of Science in Physics, and a Ph.D. in Didactics from Universite Laval, Canada. He has also taught Science didactics at Canadian universities such as Universite Laval, Universite de Moncton, and Universite Sainte-Anne. His diverse research interests include the history of science in science teaching and learning, university student's alternative conceptions in physics, and the design of a constructivist numeric environment. He published many articles and books. His academic achievements include being awarded a SALTISE mini-grant in the autumn of 2018 for developing a two-tier diagnostic test to detect secondary and post-secondary student's alternative conceptions of electrical circuits.

Prof. Tadashi Hara, born on September 11, 1974, is a Professor and Vice Director of the Disaster Prevention Division at Kochi University, specializing in geotechnical engineering. He earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in Engineering from Chuo University. Dr. Hara's career includes roles at NEWJEC Co., Ltd., Chuo University, and the Japanese Geotechnical Society, where he now serves as a Director. His research focuses on earthquake-resistant structures, gabion technology, and reservoir reinforcement, and he has authored 154 papers and 15 technical books. He manages JICA projects, particularly in Nepal, to develop disaster-resistant infrastructure. He lectures at the Open University of Japan and the University of Kochi and contributes expertise internationally in disaster assessment and training.

Dr. Takashi Nakayama is the Chief Manager of the Facilities Department, Railway Business Division of Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd. He is also a Director of C. S. Inspector Co., Ltd. He earned his Ph.D. from The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University. Since 1995, he has been engaged in the maintenance of railway civil engineering structures and tracks. He currently oversees the maintenance of railway facilities such as civil engineering, architecture, tracks, signals, and electricity as a Chief Manager of Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd., and since 2020 has worked as a researcher at C.S. Inspector Co., Ltd., where he is working on developing a method to evaluate the rainfall infiltration status of embankments in real time.

M. Olivier Bonnaud, born in France in 1950, graduated from the Ecole Normale Superieure de Paris-Saclay with a PhD in microelectronics in 1978, and Doctor es-sciences in 1984. In 1984, he became a full professor at the University of Rennes 1 and at Supelec (engineering school), where he set up a microelectronics research laboratory, which he directed until 2010, as well as several international masters and PhD programs. He has supervised 43 theses and worked in cooperation with companies, notably on thin-film and VLSI technologies.

He has published or presented over 600 articles and 7 books, including 101 invited papers or keynotes at international conferences. Founder in 1985 of a regional inter-university joint center for microelectronics (CCMO), he headed it until 2010, when he was appointed by the French Minister of Higher Education as Executive Director of the National Coordination of Higher Education in Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies (GIP-CNFM), a network of 12 French inter-university training centers that welcome around 20,000 students a year for hands-on training on technology platforms, including 7 clean rooms. President of several national and international scientific associations (French EEA, European EAEEIE), evaluator and expert for several research and higher education agencies (Comite National d'Evaluation, Nationl Research Agency, Conseil National des Universites, Agence d'Evaluation de la Recherche et de l'Enseignement Superieur), he has been a member of over 140 scientific committees at international conferences.

Retired in 2013, he is emeritus professor since and permanent Guest Professor at the South-East University (Nanjing, China). As part of its many international cooperations, it was selected for the "1000 global talents" program by the Chinese government in 2014. He received the Jiangsu Friendship Award in 2018, Microelectronics Brazilian Society Award in 2019, Chinese Gouvernement Friendship Award in 2023 from Prime Minister on February 2024. Among his missions of Executive Director of GIP-CNFM, he is presently coordinating a Five Year National project on Higher Education in the field of Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies, as part of the France 2030 program and Europe Chips Acts. Since 2019, he has been heavily involved in the French Strategic Committee of the Electronic Industry and of the Automotive Electrical Industry. He is an interntional expert for Jiangsu province and Hebei Province in China in his specialties.

Moustapha Diaby is a professor of Production and Operations Management at the University of Connecticut. He holds MS and PhD degrees in Operations Research, and a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from University at Buffalo : The State University of New York. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of Mathematical Programming, Manufacturing Systems Modeling and Analysis, and Supply Chain Management. He has led (or been involved in) many curriculum development efforts and his publications have appeared in many of the top-level journals in those areas. He serves/has served as a Reviewer and/or ad-hoc Editorial Team Member for many of the journals in the field, as well as for government agencies such as NSERC (Canada), and NSF. He has held national-level positions in the professional societies.

Kianoush Rassels earned his master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands 1998. He initially began his career in nano-technology and later transitioned to the medical sector, where he has gained over 25 years of experience at both national and international levels. Throughout his career, Kianoush has contributed to a range of scientific areas. He actively participated in voluntary research focused on segmenting the heart's coronary arteries using Computed-Tomography. His expertise extends beyond research, as he has also served as a Research & Development Director, bringing valuable board experience and a solid business background to his role. Kianoush's research interests lie in Bio- Remote sensing and patient monitoring, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Vision, Thermal Imaging, Multi-Media, Signal Processing, IoT, Distributed Computing, and (Real-Time) Embedded Systems within the medical field. He is particularly dedicated to applied research relating to neonates and the elderly. With his knowledge and experience, he continues to drive advancements in these areas, making a notable impact on the medical community and society.

Alessia Corami received her degree in Earth Science at University of Rome La Sapienza with a thesis about archaeometry Characterization of mortars and plasters from the archaeological site of Elaiussa Sebaste (Turkey) and from the Quintili's Villa on the Ancient Appian way in Rome in 1998. Later, she won a fellowship about isotopic chemistry at Geokarst srl AREA Science Park, analyzing organic and inorganic samples.

On 2001, she won a fellowship at Georesources and Geoscience Institute of Italian CNR Investigation on ancient emeralds to determine the original mine. In 2002 she won Ph.D. fellowship at University of Rome La Sapienza Phosphate-induced heavy metals immobilization in aqueous solutions and soils. During her Ph.D. she spent 7 months in the USA at Miami University (OH-USA) working with Prof. John Rakovan, attending GLG 699.E course Scanning Probe Microscopy: Theory and application, and analyzing samples with AFM under Prof. Rakovan supervision. Later, she spent a period at Merced University (California) working with Prof. Samuel J. Traina and analyzing samples at high temperature and high pressure. He was her foreigner supervisor for PhD thesis.

In 2005, 2006 and 2008 she went to ESRF in Grenoble working with Dr. D'Acapito, analyzing her Ph.D. samples. From 2007 she was a professor at Guglielmo Marconi University for 5 years, holding two courses, Environmental Geology and Geomorphology. In 2014 she was a visiting professor at Karl Eberhard University of Tubingen (Germany) holding course (Bio)-remediation technologies and a second one about Climate Change.

She started to collaborate with prof. Saied Eslamian Department of Water Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology, Iran; she is working with prof. Andrew Hursthouse, Professor of Environmental Geochemistry at University of West Scotland. During the last two years she is a visiting assistant professor at University of Louisiana at Lafayette and from June 2025 she joined Aix-Marseille University/Cerege. In these years, she published articles about archaeometry, geochemistry and remediation techniques. She is a supervisor for thesis degree, reviewer and international editorial board for some Scientific Journals, member of many Scientific Organizations.

Klaas Koerten is a researcher at the Hotelschool The Hague on the topic of hospitality technology. Being a graduate from the TU Delft, he has a background in mechanical engineering and human- machine systems. He has been working at Hotelschool The Hague for several years researching the role of robots and related technologies in the hospitality industry. He currently is involved in a four year transdisciplinary research project combining the scientific fields of hospitality and design engineering with the hospitality industry to improve housekeepers’ wellbeing. Projects like this consider the integration of new technology in highly operational work environments, making them complex but ever more so exciting when they manage to bring about positive change.
